It started as an after-school programming side project for kids at the Urbana Free Library and eventually turned into 6 years of summer camps and a series of NSF grants based on informal learning and science simulation!

A simple APU made by Alex Swanson-Linville, who started as a camper and eventually became an intern and grant employee!
The Minecraft server is custom-build with a powerful Xeon processor and giant RAM cache where it runs everything.
