 has ever been as useful or as flexible as Google Maps, and last week it got even more so. As someone who hasn't owned a car in many years, Google Maps has sometimes been frustrating because the directions engine is built for driving cars around, and so will ignore one-way streets if they go in the wrong direction, bike paths, pedestrian shortcuts, etc. That's all a thing of the past. Now if my trip is shorter than 10 km, when I ask for directions, I have the option to see the best walking route, as well as the transit options if I'm in )
